Very special Japanese Amida Buddha statue

• Material : wood
• 47,5 cm high
• The Buddha is 28,5 cm high and the lotus throne is 19 cm high
• Gilded with 24 krt. gold
• Dhyana mudra
• 17-18th century - Middle EDO period
• Very detailled, it even has holes in the ears.
• The Buddha has a hollow space in the bottom. Also the top of the base shows a hollow space, which can be seen when the Buddha is moved backwards. Probably for a relic.
• This Buddha is the best Amida Buddha that I ever had in my collection !
